This evening conference is jointly sponsored with by Extension at Iowa State University, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and University of Missouri. Brown cow.The Driftless Region Beef Conference is held late-January at the Grand River Convention Center in Dubuque. The two day conference begins at 1PM on Thursday and ends at noon on Friday. This conference is jointly sponsored by Extension at Iowa State University, University of Illinois and University of Wisconsin. The Thursday program features large group presentations while Friday’s program includes breakout rooms for cow-calf and feedlot sessions, and an economic outlook. Black cow and calf.The Cornbelt Cow-Calf Conference is held in late-January at the Bridgeview Center in Ottumwa. For over forty years, the conference has provided an opportunity for producers, researchers, and over 100 industry representatives to come together to explore current topics and issues. This concentrated one-day conference focuses on management and production practices that contribute to making the cow-calf business profitable and competitive on a long-term basis.
