Iowa Beef Collective podcast coming soon
Patrick Wall, ISU Extension and Outreach beef specialist

Beginning in September, the Iowa Beef Center (IBC) is launching a video podcast with the goal of bringing education to the industry in a more modern format: The Iowa Beef Collective. Guests will include industry icons from across the country as well as, businesses, technology, etc. Topics will essentially be an unlimited slate, from breeding/genetics, marketing and management to stock dogs, balancing the challenges of raising kids within the industry, to even livestock judging history at Iowa State.

In addition, you’ll get pertinent updates from both the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association and the Iowa Beef Industry Council. The Iowa Beef Collective will host a fall season of weekly episodes, take a break for the holiday season, then ramp back up weekly in the spring, followed by a break through the summer months.

Look for links to episodes in IBC monthly newsletters in addition to direct posts on social media via The Iowa Beef Center’s Facebook and Twitter (X) pages. Be sure to follow us on social media to listen to the latest episodes. Have a topic or guest you’d like to hear? Reach out directly to the videocast host Patrick Wall at patwall@iastate.edu.

This monthly newsletter is free and provides timely information on topics that matter most to Iowa beef producers. You’re welcome to use information and articles from the newsletter - simply credit Iowa Beef Center.
